Guess what I pulled off like eight months later? A freaking saddle. By far the hardest piece of tack to texture. Although the easiest to joint. Anyways the saddle in the works it's basic, has 3 channels, and only has minor things i'm going to fix tomorrow..? If anyone looked at my mesh you'd think I failed ultimately. So the saddle doesn't fit with pads very well since it's actually placed in the appropriate spot, not mid back..and the texture isn't super detailed and amazing either. It's been tweaked so many times i'm surprised it looks like a saddle. It will probably be available soon..? And is anyone willing to test things for me? I appear to miss things more than I'd like to, and have to go back and fix them.

So you made that saddle from scratch? I see, you still have some minor issues (those purple places) How does the saddle go with the horse's movements? I'm working on a dressage saddle myself and it looks a bit like yours at the moment (that purple stuff) and I'm finding it pretty hard to joint... when I joint it completely to the back, the horses movements to the left and right distort the texture, but not the saddle. So the texture 'leaves' the saddle. I don't know if you get what I mean xD Also, I see you're using an overlay for the saddle strap? Mine always becomes REALLY shiny without using an overlay. If you don't use an overlay, how did you get the strap to be not shiny?
