Spotted Acres
What is it? From a real point of view.
Me Hi, call me Gem. The person the running everything behind the screen. In reality I'm technically a student at a community college(i'm poor), going for Equine management/practitioner so I can work as an Equine Chiropractor. I spend my time working miscellaneous jobs, working at my dads business, or playing around with horses. I live in a tiny town located in Arizona, a few light years away from any real city, so I don't really do much. Small skills i've acquired on pc would consist of web design, photomanipulation, digital painting, drawing, and creating ts3 content. 3D modeling I guess? My personal tools would be Photoshop CS5 and a Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet. Milkshape 3D, Paint.Net, Blender, The Sims Resource Workshop, Sims 3 Package Editor, and Sims 3 Object Cloner. Spotted Acres Roleplay Spotted Acres as a website, started January 2012, is part of the Equus-Sims community. It's a roleplay site, consisting of nothing but sims 3 game play and content. With occasional bits of me dropping in pictures of my horse, Luna. 1 Year old AQH/APH filly. Currently I'm also hosting the Appaloosa and Belgian Draft Breed registries off of Spotted Acres. My objective is to breed and produce outstanding Appaloosa's, while not being limited to just Appaloosa's. I also have Paints, Belgian Drafts, a few Nez Perce, and several miscellaneous breeds that I enjoy using. QH, TB, Arab, Akhal-Teke, etc. -Content- I make equine related content for Ts3. My purpose is to provide the community with a wider, more realistic variety of tack and objects to improve gameplay. I'm not a pro at this, considering I only started attempting to make anything just a few months ago. |
What Spotted Acres does
Spotted Acres as a stable breeds, raises, sells, and buys Appaloosa horses. Spotted Acres is run by Wendy Bellows. She handles most of the business related aspects. Meanwhile Gem Bellows, niece of Wendy, handles the physical side, such as caring for the animals and riding/competing with them. Together they run a large stable with over 20 horses of various breeds.
Competing- Spotted Acres participates in almost all disciplines. Some horses are dedicated to one discipline only, meanwhile other horses may be trained in multiple. One of the main focuses would be Jumper, and Hunter Jumper. As well as Flat English work. |
